I. What this paper is

DebugInit Signals publishes research, analysis, opinion and foresight about intelligent systems and their effects. Every piece carries its label: reporting, analysis, opinion, sponsored, institutional or specimen (see Labels & Corrections).

It is not advice. Nothing here is investment, legal, medical, security or other professional advice for your situation. Foresight describes possibilities, not promises. Decide with your own judgement and, where it matters, a qualified adviser.

II. Quoting & copying

The words on this site belong to DebugInit unless a piece says otherwise. You are welcome to quote short passages with credit to DebugInit Signals and a link to the piece. For anything more, such as republishing whole pieces or translating them, please ask first.

The names, ornaments and look of this paper may not be used to suggest that Signals wrote or endorsed something it did not.

III. Contributions

When you send a source, a tip, a correction or your expertise, you confirm it is yours to share. Signals verifies before it prints, may decline anything, and credits contributors by name unless you ask to stay unnamed. We never print a source's identity against their wishes.

IV. Corrections & complaints

If you believe something we printed is wrong, tell us. If the evidence agrees, the piece is corrected and the correction is printed, dated, at its foot. Nothing is quietly deleted.

V. Membership & payments

Signals does not take payments yet. When membership and one-time contributions open, their price, what they include and how to cancel will be set out here before anyone is asked to pay.

Links. We link to sources elsewhere so you can check our work; we are not responsible for other sites. Availability. We aim to keep the paper online and accurate, but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Changes. If these terms change, the new version is printed here with its date.
